About Technical Assistance

diagram explained in text below

Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) is a process of ongoing, needs-driven support to enhance the effectiveness of programs and organizations in achieving outcomes.

The 988 Crisis Systems Response Training and Technical Assistance Center (CSR-TTAC) uses a framework for designing an effective TTA program that considers environmental factors, the policy landscape, health equity, and the trending challenges and needs of the field. Our systems-level, empowerment approach to TTA ensures the integration of factors affecting communities, programs, and individuals/families. This approach allows us to anticipate the needs and challenges of recipients and efficiently design and provide TTA to maximize impact.

The CSR- TTAC can support your community by:

  • Identifying materials, such as policies and guidelines, that can support your program activities.
  • Providing speakers for trainings and workshops to educate stakeholders and build capacity.
  • Facilitating strategic, cross-system planning to identify resources, establish priorities, and develop a road map for achieving goals.
  • Advancing best practices and innovative strategies through the sharing of practical knowledge.

The TTA we provide encompasses a wide variety of strategies including: skills, knowledge and capacity building, consultation, facilitation, and supporting relevant stakeholders. Our TTA can be provided in a variety of forms including: virtual and in-person training events, workshops, and online resources. All of our TTA deliveries are provided FREE of CHARGE!
